Love Island star AJ Bunker wants a rematch with Elle Brooke after the fight with longtime rival Carla Howe was scrapped

LOVE ISLAND star AJ Bunker is set to fight Elle Brooke again – but her fight with longtime rival Carla Howe has been called off.

Bunker lost on points to OnlyFans model Brooke in July after winning the fight on short notice.

She was scheduled to face Howe in Sheffield on Saturday, on KSI’s MisFits promotional card.

And before that, Bunker, 29, called for a rematch against Brooke, 24.

She told The Mirror: “Before that I was a little bit insecure because I was a little bit upset but this time around I was definitely going to be ready for a rematch.

“I’m absolutely ready for a rematch once I’ve had the fight camp that she has.

“I want that to happen because people forget I come in two weeks in advance.

“She had a renowned boxing trainer in Mark Tibbs and Ebanie Bridges, she had a full fight camp and she still couldn’t beat me.

“Mark Tibbs has worked with Billy Joe Saunders and Dillian Whyte.

“I didn’t have any of that and if I have a full fight camp I want that rematch 100 percent and I’m going to make that happen.”

MisFits updated their fight card on Twitter, calling off Bunker’s proposed fight with celebrity rival Howe, who has reportedly pulled out.

Her trainer Luke Groves said: “She is not mentally fit for boxing. That’s one thing I know. I’m sorry for her.

“This crazy influencer world has ruined their sanity.”
