Love Island producers were furious when I went on strike at Casa Amor – I spent all day eating from the fridge

LOVE Island star Abigail Rawlings has opened up about how she was “insulted” by producers after she refused to speak to any of the boys during “Casa Amor”.

The 29-year-old tattoo artist was then involved with Toby Aromolaran and was convinced they were connected – only to find out he’d reconnected with Mary Bedford.

Abigail, who was on the show in 2021, revealed that she spent her time eating instead of flirting and was disappointed and embarrassed when she found out what Toby was up to.

She explained it again! Magazine: “I couldn’t have been more withdrawn walking into Casa Amor. One producer actually berated me for not speaking to any of the new guys.

“I spent all day eating food from the fridge without eating anything.”

Despite a crew member making it clear that she should mingle, Abi decided to return to the villa alone.

She continued: “Seeing Toby walk in with Mary was the worst thing ever. I felt silly standing there and my head kept saying “don’t cry!”. Mary mentioned that Toby didn’t talk about me at Casa Amor and I was embarrassed telling everyone he would be waiting for me.”

In the end, Toby dumped Mary and reverted to Chloe Burrows, whom he dated for some time after the show ended.
