LOVE Island fans have slammed Sammy as “cruel” after he brutally abandoned Dennis Wise’s daughter Amber in tonight’s episode.

Sammy has been in a love triangle with Amber and Jess since Casa Amor was remarried.

But tonight, Sammy was given an ultimatum by Jess, telling him to make a choice or lose it for good.

He called Amber in and told her it was all over, although he had assured her just hours earlier that he was still glad to meet her.

Sammy said, “Just wanted to chat with you a little,” to which Amber replied, “I feel like I know where this is going.”

He continued, “Where my head is right now, I figured my head would stay like it was very Jess.”

A discouraged Amber replied, “That’s fine if that’s how you feel.”

He continued: “I’ve been trying to be as transparent as possible the whole time, but I feel like it’s gotten to a point where I don’t want it to appear like I’m leading you, I just want it to be real.”

Amber reassured him by saying, “It’s fine,” and the couple hugged him.

But viewers weren’t so lenient and criticized Sammy for siding with Amber and only dumped her days later.

One wrote: “Sammy needs to hear this. He stopped her and it’s actually cruel.”

Another posted: “Look at Sammy the loser reporting to his mr Tyrique and oh wait Ty tells him what to do and he does it. ugh! I really hate this disgusting waste of space on earth.”

A third ranted: “Sammy is using Amber to see if she can turn his head! How disrespectful.”

This person tweeted: “The fact that Sammy is acting like this despite knowing he’s on national TV is so scary because I can only imagine how detestable he is to women when not around the clock cameras aimed at him.”

“Sammy actually thinks he’s that guy, and he’s not. He’s a disgusting person,” raged someone else.

At the beginning of the episode, Jess was desperate to get some clarity on her situation with Sammy.

Wanting to know exactly where she stood, she told Sammy, “I wanted to talk to you… realistically, I don’t want to be in this situation anymore… I just feel like I’m in a different triangle and I can’t deal with it anymore with Sammy.” .

“If I put you in three triangles, you wouldn’t have it with three other guys…I want someone who wants me 100%.”

Sammy told Jess that he needed more time to get to know Amber, but she threw him an ultimatum.

Jess hit back, saying, “It’s not fair… I’m not going to beg you to vote for me. If you don’t want me, that’s fine, but I’m not in a love triangle anymore.
