Louis Tomlinson fans flee Red Rocks concert in Colorado as hailstorms rock crowds with reports of broken bones and bruises

LOUIS Tomlinson fans had to take cover after being hit by hail due to the storm at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

Several 911 calls were made as people reported their injuries caused by the hail.

Videos on social media showed screaming fans trying to escape the hail that blanketed the venue like snow.

A Red Rocks spokesman said: CDPR that there were several centimeters of hail in the seating area.

“Tonight was the scariest night of my life. It started hitting people with hail on Red Rocks and luckily my sister and I found shelter under a sign,” one fan tweeted, along with a harrowing video.

“I’m bleeding and have big bumps on my head from the hail. I hope everyone got out safely.”

Another concertgoer tweeted a picture of a hailball forming into a ball in her hand.

“@RedRocksCo couldn’t have called out a delay sooner?” they tweeted.

According to witnesses, people were covered with welts and bruises as emergency responders from the West Metro Fires worked with the venue on medical treatment.

The number of injured participants is not clear at this time.

Venue officials were still debating whether or not to cancel the show, which featured One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.

The show was already delayed just after 8:00 p.m. and visitors were asked to take shelter. However, the all-clear was given at around 8:35 p.m.

Shortly before 9:15 p.m. there was another delay.

“Tonight’s show has officially been postponed. Please exit the amphitheater safely – we will have more information for ticket holders soon,” the venue tweeted at 10:25 p.m.
