Los Angeles FC confirm the transfer of Gareth Bale with an epic goal montage as the Welsh legend ‘can’t wait to get started’ in MLS.

GARETH BALE is “extremely excited” to join Los Angeles FC as the MLS club confirmed the big signing with a stunning montage.
The 32-year-old Welsh captain agreed a 12-month contract with an option to stay a further year following his free transfer from Real Madrid.

LAFC co-president John Thorrington praised the former Tottenham wideman as “one of the most dynamic and exciting players of his generation”.
And Bale, who turned down a move to Cardiff, said: “I can’t wait to get started.
“I am very happy about this move to LAFC.
“This is the right place for me and my family and the right time in my career.”

Speculation that Bale could quit was dashed in early June when Wales beat Ukraine to qualify for this winter’s World Cup in Qatar.
But after playing such a marginal role at Real in recent seasons, some are wondering if he’s still a top-flight club player.
LAFC, however, spiced up Bale’s arrival with a clip of some of his finest moments – including his famous overhead kick which he used to sink Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final.
This two-goal match-turning performance may have been Bale’s last special contribution for Real.

But Thorrington believes luring in the 105-cap ace is a major coup for LAFC – and denied there had been a “financial talk” about wages in talks to tie the move.
He said: “Adding a player who brings their talent and experience to the highest level is an incredible opportunity to improve our club.
“I am grateful to the Gareth management team for helping make this possible.
“It is clear that Gareth is highly motivated to continue winning trophies and we are delighted that he has chosen to join LAFC and help us achieve our ultimate goal of winning championships.”
LAFC head coach Steve Cherundolo said: “There just aren’t many players in the world who can influence a game like Gareth Bale.
“He can be dangerous in so many different ways and we expect him to complement what we think is already a strong team from the moment he arrives.
“His knowledge of the game and experience playing in big games will be invaluable.”
