Long-awaited Dean Henderson transfer to Nottingham Forest is in doubt as they turn to the Arsenal keeper

DEAN HENDERSON’s transfer to Nottingham Forest is at risk after reports have identified an alternative destination.
The former Manchester United No. 1 is expected to leave the club this summer after the Red Devils took over Andre Onana for £47million.
It had been widely expected that Henderson would return to the City Ground for the upcoming season, converting his loan move into a permanent transfer.
However, the move now seems in jeopardy after Steve Cooper’s side identified Arsenal star Matt Turner as an alternative.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio RomanoForest has already asked the Gunners about their terms in order to secure a deal for the American.
And his report adds that they will only sign ONE goalkeeper this summer.
It was reported earlier today that Mikel Arteta is looking to recruit Brentford contract rebel David Raya to give Aaron Ramsdale competition – with Turner set to make way for him.
Having said that the athlete claim that there is a valuation gap between Forest and Arsenal versus Turner.
Forest have already signed Man Utd winger Anthony Elanga in a £15m deal.
And Henderson clearly hinted that he would be traveling to Forest under Elanga’s post when announcing the move.

“I’m honestly so happy and excited to be here, I couldn’t stop smiling! Thank you for the great reception.”
This prompted Henderson to respond excitedly: “What a club! Let’s go.”
