London Tube Strike LIVE – Chaos across Underground network as TFL staff steps out and passengers explode into walk

Everyone is encouraged to work from home tomorrow

TfL encouraged people to work from home on Thursday due to a Railroad, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union strike.

TfL chief executive Andy Lord said: “We have not yet proposed any changes to pensions or terms and conditions, and no one has or will lose a job because of the proposals we make. I proposed, so this action is completely unnecessary.”

Encouraging people to work from home on Thursday, Lord said there were rules in place for key workers who were unable to work from home.

“We have booked more buses and we also have all of our other TfL services up and running,” he said. I hope that they will be able to go to work without too much inconvenience. “

Another 24-hour outing is scheduled for tomorrow, with positive impacts on today’s and Friday’s services.
