LIZ Truss WILL attend the COP27 climate summit next month – but without King Charles.

Despite claims from critics that she could drop BoJo’s green agenda and water down her policies, the prime minister will travel to Egypt next month.

Insiders previously thought she would make the G20 international conference in Bali her main event on the world stage, where she will tease leaders.

But now she is making a stop in Egypt as part of her international efforts.

Ms Truss has pledged that she will deliver on the promise to reach net zero by 2050.

It came after reports that King Charles will not go to the eco-meet as planned following the Queen’s death.

He said that if he takes the throne, he would leave his campaign to his family to take him on instead.
