Liverpool set to rebuild around Saka with Arsenal star ‘interested in succeeding one of Klopp’s attackers’

LIVERPOOL could move on to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka and rebuild their attack around him, reports say.
Saka has stood out at the Emirates since being called up in 2018 and has scored five Premier League goals this season, equal to the total he registered in the previous term.
According to Ian McGarry, the Red Devils are expecting to sell at least two of their strikers and are keeping an eye on the future.
That’s where the 20-year-old winger could come in as he has so many productive years ahead of him and fits the style of the Merseysiders.
McGarry told Podcast Transfer Window: “We have reported on The Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool are looking to the future in regards to the sale of at least two of their attacking players.
“Saka is a player who fits Liverpool’s style.”
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has no intention of losing one of his best players in a bid to rebuild the Gunners.
That is why the north Londoners have held exploratory talks with Saka’s representatives to extend his contract, which expires in 2024.

But Liverpool could be an interesting prospect for the England international as he wants to play at the highest level.
McGarry added: “I understand that there have been talks with his agent regarding a contract upgrade for him at Arsenal.
“Liverpool will provide the opportunity and platform for him to play and compete at the highest level.
“And that would certainly be something that I would say he and his agents are very interested in.”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Saka as he praised him recently by describing him as a “young and exciting player”.
