Liverpool fans fear the new white away kit is ‘DAMN’ after losing all their games in it this season, including Forest

LIVERPOOL fans fear their new white away kit will be ‘cursed’ after failing to win in the new kit.

The Reds are yet to win away from Anfield in the Premier League this season, with defeat by Nottingham Forest on Saturday their third loss in the top flight.

And in a strange coincidence, Liverpool have worn their new white kit in all three defeats, including against Manchester United and Arsenal.

Liverpool have won just once away from home this season – a 7-1 win over Rangers, where they happened to wear red.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were even badly beaten by United in pre-season when they wore the white shirt, leading some fans to joke that they were ‘cursed’.

One supporter said: “The curse of this jersey is real. Liverpool have yet to win one PL away game this season.”

Another added: “Liverpool have to wear the third kit for away games because that white kit…nothing good will come of it.”

And a third wrote: “Liverpool have lost every single game they’ve played in this absolute monstrosity of a football shirt. New Balance jerseys are far superior!”

Liverpool have an alternative green kit but it is yet to make its debut.

However, the Reds travel to Ajax tomorrow and could use the green kit for the first time, with the Dutch team’s home kit featuring both red and white.

A win for Liverpool will secure their place in the last 16 of the Champions League and level them with Napoli should the Serie A side lose to Rangers.

Liverpool meet the red-hot Italian giants in their last group game, so they still have a good chance of topping the table. Liverpool fans fear the new white away kit is ‘DAMN’ after losing all their games in it this season, including Forest
