Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praises Arsenal as Gabriel Martinelli fears post-Korea transfer attack

JURGEN KLOPP has praised Gabriel Martinelli after Liverpool beat Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
The Brazilian, 20, looks good on the ball but struggles to find his way past Trent Alexander-Arnold like The Red Devils’ defense is still stubborn throughout.
But his energetic performance and positive attitude won him praise from Klopp.
The German was asked about eventual opponents Chelsea but decided to talk about Martinelli instead.
He said: “By the way, Martinelli … everyone should remember that name. Excellent player.”
And Klopp’s admiration for the winger has struck a chord with fear among some Arsenal fans.
A Gooner – referencing Klopp’s accusations interested in Bukayo Saka – wrote on Twitter: “Yes, I think he has his eye on our two kids as replacements for Mane and Salah.”
Another added: “Trying to lure him to Liverpool for the next two or three seasons… We should renew him as quickly as possible.”

Another fan said: “Martinelli is Klopp’s dream player.
“Unbelievable speed and energy, plus his ability to press so good. Get the ball upstream more than most strikers.
“I hope he stays healthy – he will be a top player for many years to come.”
