LIVERPOOL will be without star midfielder Thiago for SIX WEEKS with a hamstring injury after the Spaniard slipped in the 2-2 draw at Fulham.
Thiago has only lasted 51 minutes of the new Premier League season before being substituted through injury.
The 31-year-old was replaced by youngster Harvey Elliott.
And according to The Athletic, Liverpool will have to be without Thiago for SIX WEEKS.
He will miss Liverpool’s next six Premier League games.
These encounters include the derby against bitter rivals Manchester United.
Other games include Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Everton and Wolves.
Thiago struggled with injuries last season.
There were injury concerns ahead of the Champions League final defeat by Real Madrid but the midfielder was declared fit to play.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists renewed injury setback will not force him to panic buy even after fellow midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s long-term injury.

Klopp said: “I know what’s to come now, it’s clear.
“We said we didn’t need a midfielder because we have enough – and we do have enough, but the problem now is that we’re being penalized for something that’s not really our responsibility because things like that can happen.”
He continued: “We have midfielders, we still have enough midfielders. It’s not that we’re missing midfielders, but just a few of them are injured.
“It’s not a good situation, I don’t like it at all, but we have to see how we react to it – but definitely not panic.”
