I think St Andrews challenges the brain. That’s one of the things about this course, it gives you a lot and it takes a lot away from you, you have to be really healthy mentally.
Tiger will be fine physically. I saw him in Ireland and physically he wouldn’t do it if he felt he couldn’t.
It makes a lot of demands on this body. But it’s a place that if the weather isn’t too bad I think he can handle and he knows it so well.
It always felt like that, even before his accident and like that Augusta was a place to compete regardless of his injury and all that stuff because it was a place that he knew so well. He knew how to play it. And St Andrews is a close second.
Tiger has a great history there and his brain has no problems. He still thinks the game is better than anyone. It’s not about playing perfect golf, it’s about playing really smart golf and knowing your limits when playing that golf course.
That’s one thing he has and will never lose, being better than everyone else when it comes to navigating the golf course.
