Live presenters Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos choke on their words when a fatal error throws them out of the game on live TV

LIVE presenters Kelly and Mark fell silent as they dealt with a caller’s audio issues.
Kelly and Mark hosted another Grow For It Spring trivia event during Monday’s episode.
They welcomed Georgia’s Lauren Saulters to the show to play the game.
“Good morning!” Mark greeted Lauren and received a garbled response in return.
“Uh-oh,” he said while waiting for Lauren’s audio stream to clear.
Lauren’s flawed voice continued as Mark awkwardly tried to speak to her.

He asked, “How are you?”
Next there was a long silence while Mark tried to figure out what to do next.
Kelly didn’t say anything as she looked questioningly at Mark.
Apparently no one knew what to say next.

“Um, I can hear you a bit, can you hear us?” he asked Lauren.
“Yes, I can hear you,” Lauren replied, in a normal tone this time.
Mark said “okay, fine, alright” and started the quiz game.
The audio issues were fixed and Lauren was finally able to play normally.
AT THE MARKET
Meanwhile, Mark challenged a producer on a morning show.
Mark got together with one of the executive producers of Live! in dispute after his wife, Kelly Ripa, claimed that he loved one of their three children more than the others.
Kelly, 52, initially raised her children Joaquin, Lola and Michael and claimed her husband had a favorite from the group.
Although Mark had previously stated that he didn’t have a particular favorite child.
“Everyone knows which kid is your favorite,” Kelly told Mark.
She admitted all of her kids “talk” behind his back about who they know is Mark’s special.
Trying to clear the air, Mark replied, “Lola is convinced that she’s my favorite daughter, and I’m like, ‘You’re my favorite daughter.'”
Kelly let him in on the secret, revealing who everyone thinks is Mark’s favorite: Joaquin.
“He is [Joaquin] not my favorite,” denied Mark.
He added that he still loves his children.
You can’t deal with the truth!
The former soap opera actress jokingly remarked that Mark should never take a “lie detector test” after he didn’t seem to answer honestly.
However, Kelly joked that it would be fun to hook him up with one “just for fun.”
Mark was up for the challenge, telling the producer sitting off to one side, “I dare you… I’m going to smash that lie detector test.”
He added that he was a personal “lie detector.”
The skeptical talk show producer dovishly replied as the camera panned towards him: “We used to think so, but now you’re about 50/50.”
The audience erupted in laughter at the producer’s comment.
REPEAT INJURY
Although it doesn’t happen often, Mark has had run-ins with morning show producers in the past.
Last year he was reprimanded for trying to get on Live! to use swear words. when the show was silent Live with Kelly and Ryanand he was a guest co-host.
As the show began, Mark Kelly revealed that someone had molested him on the street the day before.
He explained, “I got a lot of feedback yesterday for the reveal… I don’t think I gave much away… um… the ending of The White Lotus.”
Kelly looked quite shocked as Mark continued: “I was born as… can you say D-Bag? Can you say that on the radio?”
A producer was heard replying in the background, “Nu uh!” as Kelly blurted out, “Well you just did that!”
Mark ignored his wife and then said, “You can’t say that, okay!”
Curious to know who had molested her husband, Kelly asked, “Who called you that? You mean the followers of this show?”
“I’m not going to get into that,” Mark said at the same time, before confirming, “No, no, just someone on the street.”
Then he added, “And I was like, ‘You know what, you know what?’ I said, ‘Everybody dies, the whole cast dies, don’t even look at the rest of the show’.”
Kelly laughed and replied, “Look, it’s all fun and games until you have to come back the next day!”
“I know,” Mark said as his wife referenced Monday’s show, proclaiming, “Remember yesterday he said, ‘I don’t care, if you haven’t seen it that’s not my problem’ .”
“I know that’s the good thing, I can usually say whatever I want and nobody cares!” Mark added.
THE NEW STANDARD
Both the audience at home and the ABC studio audience have grown accustomed to Mark’s new role as Kelly’s permanent co-host.
During one episode, the Riverdale actor begged the audience to stop booing him after he made a comment to his wife that they didn’t seem to approve of.
Kelly started a discussion about an article she had read about big ass “going out of style.”
Some people have apparently started reversing their Brazilian butt lift (BBL) procedures to get smaller butts again, she said.
This prompted Mark to ask his wife if she would ever consider getting a BBL.
“Tell me,” she replied, turning the tables.
He laughed uneasily before she decided to answer.
“I don’t know. I just feel like there are so many other places I’d rather have implants if I had the time and energy,” said the New Jersey native.
Mark then agreed with her before quickly realizing how that sounded and working to clarify when the audience started booing him.

“I mean, I don’t agree that you should do this, but I agree-” he tried to explain, but the audience turned against him.
Mark alerted the crowd and told them to “stop” and clarified again, “I didn’t say anything — I just agreed because she’s my wife.”
