LITTLE People Big World fans have slammed Tori Roloff for making a dangerous parenting decision in the latest episode.
The reality star lost sight of her 2-year-old daughter after putting her in a high-risk situation, and fans aren’t happy.
The 31-year-old put her daughter on the counter and turned to get something from the closet.
Lilah sat unattended on the kitchen counter surrounded by balloons and decorations for her birthday.
Tori then had her back turned to Lilah as she sat down to speak to her husband’s father, Matt.
Lilah’s grandfather and father were in the same room, but they would have been too far away to catch her if she fell.
Matt spoke to Tori about her morning sickness to try to ease the tension between them.
Once she turned to hand Lilah the food, but then turned her back on her again.
Jackson then woke up from his nap and Tori put him on the counter so he could stand with his bare feet but took him down very quickly.
Just as Matt was leaving, Tori turned to her toddler and told her to say goodbye to her grandpa and the toddler wasn’t very happy.
LPBW fans on Reddit were furious after seeing what happened and took to the platform to comment.
“Who the hell lets a toddler sit on a counter? With your back turned? My heart was in my throat throughout this whole scene. Maybe Lilah just isn’t moving, but oops!” They captioned the post.
The original poster also included a screenshot of the scene where Tori sat with her arms crossed.
Many fans expressed their angry opinion on the platform.
Little People Big World watchers automatically slammed Tori for leaving her child unattended.
“My husband walked into the room during this scene and immediately asked why she was lying on the counter like that. My response was that the Reddit sub will surely have something to say about it haha. If you’re fine doing stuff like that in front of cameras, imagine how bad it is when they’re not there,” said one fan.
“That scene also made me very uncomfortable. I don’t think I listened to a word they said the whole time lol. I’m not sure if it was just an edit, but it also seemed like she walked away and left Lilah there for a moment. I could never have done that with my kids,” another chipped in.
“I felt your fear,” added a third.
Other fans were concerned that she would fall because she is so small.
“And she’s so tiny! That would be a big downfall for any toddler, but especially for an LP baby,” they said.
“I thought the same thing. I was like um I hope she has a good balance,” wrote another fan.
A lot of people said they thought it was lazy parenting on Tori’s part.
This isn’t the first time Tori and Zach have been slammed for poor parenting.
Last month, the reality TV show couple let Lilah play and crawl in the streets while they were outside.
They kept an eye on her but were busy talking about the future of the family.
Again, fans took to Reddit to express their disgust at her “lazy upbringing.”
“Pick up your baby off the street. What’s the matter with them?” said one user.
“Babies are always swinging their big heads around. One swing and she’ll bang her head face first on the concrete,” said another reviewer.
A third chimed in: “I had a toddler and I wasn’t allowing her to crawl across the dirty cement where people walk, drive and pets pee and poop.”
Many other fans said they would never let their child crawl around on the street.
Tori and Zach are also parents to Jackson, 5, and Josiah, who welcomed them back in April.
