A LION is forced to turn its tail and run away when the buffalo she is stalking gets a hump.
The action was captured by wildlife photographer Nistar PS at the Maasai Mara National Reserve, in Kenya, East Africa.

“The buffaloes are protecting the smaller animals,” he said.
“When the lionesses got too close, they were very defensive and chased her away.”
