LIONEL MESSI continued his birthday celebrations in Ibiza with ex-Barcelona pals as they attended a David Guetta performance.

The Paris Saint-Germain star, now 35, celebrated with former teammates Cesc Fabregas and Luis Suarez and their partners on Monday night.

Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo shared pictures of the group at Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel on Instagram.

The superstars looked tanned and refreshed as they took some time off from the football pitch.

The group celebrated the striker’s birthday on Friday in Sa Ferradura – just off the north coast of the Spanish island.

Messi, Antonela and their three children Thiago, nine, Mateo, six, and Ciro, four, are staying on the island in a £260,000-a-week, six-bed villa.

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Fabregas and wife Daniella Semaan joined them with Atletico Madrid forward Suarez and wife Sofia Balbi as the three footballers enjoy the Spanish sunshine.

On Messi’s 35th birthday, 5,000 school children sang “Happy Birthday” to him in his native town of Rosario.

Youngsters from a youth orchestra in the Argentine city kicked things off by celebrating their birthday at the iconic national flag monument near the banks of the Parana River.

The stunning award was broadcast on local TV and was part of a new chapter in a program dedicated to the legendary footballer called Mundo Leo.

Former Liverpool winger Maxi Rodriguez was among those who appeared on screen to wish Messi a happy 35th birthday before the children made themselves heard with their singing.

Messi is enjoying a summer away after winning the league title with PSG.

It’s been a somewhat overwhelming 2021/22 season for the South American as he begins life in the French capital.

He scored just 11 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions but contributed 15 assists.

PSG were quickly crowned Ligue 1 champions but were eliminated by eventual winners Real Madrid in the Champions League round of 16.
