Rapper Matthew Schofield’s devastated father shared a snap of the two together on Facebook as he talked about his grief.

“This weekend, we lost our daughter’s battle to get her life back to the depression, trauma, PTSD and drug addiction we’ve been battling since we brought her back. from the US via DFAT emergency repatriation but was broken,” he wrote.

“She fought hard against her demons as we all stood by her side and picked up shards time and time again but she couldn’t fight any more and we lost her.

“As her father, I am so proud of her that I am beyond words because she is my hero, my daughter and my best friend whom I hold dear.

“She’s pain-free now with the universe wanting their angel back.

“A big part of me is gone right now but I ask my dear friends to try not to call me until I get through this.”
