Light up the cold starting weekend – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It’s starting to look like Christmas… no, really.
This weekend, we’ll see most of downtown Pittsburgh and many, if not all, local communities having their light up nights.

I know some people who actually had their bright nights too. If the morning comes tonight, it will be a little chilly.
Temperatures will be about 10 degrees warmer on Saturday.
While it will be cool outside, it won’t be cold.
Today will see a windy and chilly morning give way to a chilly autumn day this afternoon. The highest level will be close to 40 degrees. The winds will calm down the day we go. In general, the sky is mostly cloudy. Today will be dry along with Saturday.
Saturday’s high will be near 50 degrees. The weather will be seasonal for the Night Lights up in downtown Pittsburgh.

Looking at the extended forecast, Showers should return before noon on Sunday, with the rest of the day forecast to last overnight. Rain will be light.
Then the rain is expected to turn to snow Monday morning. Light snow is expected on Monday with no accumulation.
There will probably be a build-up of snow on Tuesday but again it won’t be much.
At this point, the best Thanksgiving news is that I have a low of the day at 32°. While a soft freeze is out of the question, I don’t think we’ll be dealing with a hard freeze with warmer weather expected over the next few days.
Any active weather we see will have little or no effect on driving at the moment.
