LEICESTER’s New Year’s Day clash at home with Norwich has been postponed.

The canaries have asked the Premier League to postpone its trip to King Power on Saturday.

The bottom team of the Premier League has once again suffered the cases, injuries and illnesses of Covid-19.

Norwich were without 10 players from the starting XI in Tuesday’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

But they were able to postpone the trip to West Ham’s field on December 18 due to too few players.

And now, with Dean Smith dead and even fewer players trained, Norwich have accepted their request.
