Leicester ‘launch £20m bid for Leeds winger Jack Harrison after he hijacked club hit for Lyon ace Tete’

LEICESTER have reportedly made a £20m bid for Leeds winger Jack Harrison.
Brendan Rodgers was keen this month to strengthen his squad in a bid to climb the Premier League table after a poor start to the season.

The Foxes have already signed Denmark defender Victor Kristiansen for £17.5m from FC Copenhagen.
And on Friday they successfully hijacked Leeds pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete, who was on loan at Lyon for the first half of the 2022-23 season.
Although the deal isn’t finalized for the Brazilian, Leicester have already started pursuing their next transfer target.
According to The Athletic, the Foxes have made a £20million offer to Harrison.
The Leeds winger has less than 18 months on his current contract but Jesse Marsch is keen to offer him an extension.
Harrison spent three seasons on loan at Manchester City’s Elland Road before signing a permanent deal with the Peacocks in 2021.
Since then he has made 185 appearances for Leeds.
While Harrison could be on his way out, Leeds officials are in the process of bringing Juventus star Weston McKennie into the club.

The US international will join the club on loan until the end of the season.
Leeds then have an opportunity to trigger their £29m buyout clause in the summer.
