A 26-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of fatally shooting a man in traffic.
Ricky Gaspar Ruiz, of Lehigh Acres, and his accomplice Victor Jimmy Colon, 23, are accused of fatally shooting Isaiah Robles, 21, while driving.
Video of the encounter shows two men, who were arrested in Hialeah, running through traffic and firing at a vehicle.
Ruiz was found guilty on January 21 following a trial in Lee County.
According to the state attorney’s office, Ruiz shot Robles 16 times.
Colon is expected to be sentenced on February 14.
