Lee Health reports 342 COVID-19 patients in its hospitals



Lee Health released its COVID-19 number on Friday.

  • As of Friday morning, there are 342 COVID-19 patients isolated in its hospitals (inpatients).
  • Of those patients, 12 of them are being treated at Southwest Florida’s Golisano Children’s Hospital.
  • As of Friday morning, the hospital’s census was at 94% of its staff active bed capacity.
  • As of Thursday, Lee Health’s emergency departments admitted 975 patients. Before the current surge in omicrons, its emergency departments received about 900 patients per day on average.
  • On Thursday, Lee Convenience Care looked at 420 patients, our LCC sites averaging about 360 patients per day before increasing omicrons.
