LEBRON JAMES had a hilarious response when asked which NBA playoff team he would like to join.
The 37-year-old missed the playoffs when his Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated in the regular season.
But the four-time champion announced he wants to join the Golden State Warriors, who are suspended 1-1 against Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.
In a trailer for an upcoming episode of The Shop, James was asked which team he would join in the playoffs.
It’s unclear when the interview took place, and it may have been when 16 teams were still in the playoff race.
But LeBron replied, “It would be Golden State. I’d love to get in a fucking match with Draymond Green. I love it when someone curses me.”
James played four NBA Finals series against the Warriors while in Cleveland.
LeBron prevailed when he brought an NBA championship to his hometown in 2016.
But Golden State had Cleveland’s number in the 2015, 2017, and 2018 series.
James is the second highest NBA scorer of all time and is now officially a billionaire too.
Only Karim Abdul-Jabbar has more points than James in league goals with 38,387 versus 37,062.
James is probably the most famous NBA world star since Michael Jordan.
And his net worth is now north of $1 billion, making him the third NBA player of all-time — behind Jordan and Kobe Bryant — to hit nine figures.
But LeBron has the honor of being the first active player to ever reach the three-comma club.
According to Spotrac, his total NBA career earnings are a staggering $387,384,119.
And he’s not done with that, as the final year of his Lakers contract will net James another $44,474,988 in 2022-23.
Overall, however, LeBron has raked in over $1 billion by combining his player salary with annual sponsorship deals.
Deals with Beats, Blaze Pizza, GMC, AT&T, Pepsi, Rimowa, and Walmart alone are said to bring in a whopping $100 million a year.
Plus, his joint venture with Maverick Carter — SpringHill Entertainment — is worth a cool $300 million alone.
