On Monday she accepted Twitter to ask her followers for UK beach recommendations.

Many responded with the hidden gems Woods was looking for, including beaches in Northumberland, Cornwall and Great Yarmouth.

But one fan had other ideas and tried to be clever with his comment, which garnered 1,700 likes.

He wrote: “Do I have a sandpit for children in my back garden? Does that count? Woman is at work most days.”

Woods wryly hit back, saying, “That’s what she says…”

Liked nearly 4,000 times, the joke had fans laughing, with the man replying, “Hahaha, touche!!”

Another wrote in the comments: “Savage 🤣🤣.”
