Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian’s ex, sobs over mother’s ‘dangerous’ death in sad Celebrity Big Brother scene

LAMAR Odom has devoted a lot of Celebrity Big Brother’s attention to criticizing his ex Khloe Kardashian, but this week, he revealed his mother and her “dangerous” death.

The emotional moment with Todrick Hall had fans supporting the NBA player’s “sweet soul”.

While linked as literally “peas” on Famous brother, Lamar and housemate Todrick found himself becoming like Keeping up with the Kardashians Alum opened up about her late mother.

Sitting together, Todrick brought up the topic, and Lamar was ready and willing to talk about his difficult childhood.

“It’s hard for you to believe that your mother isn’t here?” he asked and added, “How long has she been gone?”

Lamar frankly replied: “She died in 1992, I was 12 years old.

“She got sick in January and died in July.”

He added on her terms, “I didn’t know she wouldn’t make it through the last day. Cancer is betrayal.”

The former NBA star trembled with emotion and then sweetly spoke of his difficult loss in confession:

“If I had a billion dollars, I would put it into cancer research,” he said.

He later said of another loss as the camera cuts back: “When I got my son’s death certificate it just said ‘negligible’.”

Speaking further at the confessional, he said: “I think difficult and tragic times are something we all go through.”

Todrick praised the star as “inspirational” for being so open-minded and they weren’t linked to their outfits.

One Twitter user wrote after the heartbreaking words: “Lamar Odom has been a treasure this season and I hope he knows how much the fans love him.”

“Damn! Yall makes me cry about Lamar every week,” another wrote.

“Really falling in love with Lamar. He really is a sweet man who’s been through a lot,” wrote a third, adding about the pea outfit: “Lamar was too excited to take it off. get rid of that outfit lol.”

“He seems like a sweet soul,” wrote a fourth.

LAMAR’S WAY

Lamar’s late mother Cathy Mercer raised him as a single father because his father was a heroin addict. Hollywood life – although he had a relationship with his father later while growing up.

She worked on Riker’s Island and raised Lamar in Queens, New York.

When she passed, he was taken in by her mother, by the exit, who had continued to raise him.

He told The Player’s Tribune: “I wish I could tell you there was a reason for it. It wasn’t. It was just a decision I made.”

The reality TV star added: “If I had known it would affect my life the way it did, I would never have even thought about it.”

LAMAR & KHLOE

Lamar had a high profile relationship with Khloe kardashianand married her from 2009-2016.

The retired athlete appeared with his ex-wife on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, while they also starred in the TV series Khloe & Lamar together from 2011-2012.

The former athlete opened up earlier with co-star Todrick on a recent episoderevealed that he hopes Khloe will be in the show’s cast.

“I just wanted to take her out to eat and tell her I’m sorry,” Lamar told Todrick.

Referring to his infidelity, Lamar said: “When you take an oath in the eyes of God, you expect to honor that oath, which I didn’t.”

Later, Lamar confessed that he believes Khloe is “one of the” and that “ruined” their marriage is “biggest regret.”

Khloe filed for divorce after trying to help her then-husband of four years find rehabilitation.

Khloe moved in from Lamar with ex Tristan Thompson, welcoming daughter True, 3, even though he cheat her several times.

Most recently, he fathered a child with Maralee Nicholsacknowledged paternity a month after the child was born.

Khloe recently spent Valentine’s Day with only True and her cat amid Lamar’s recent yearning for her and his brave admission.
