LA Season 14 taking place at CBS?

Eyes are on the future of our favorite TV crime dramas. Of course, NCIS: LA included in the list. Will NCIS: LA Part 14 happened at CBS?

As we wrap up the year, it won’t be long before carriers make a decision on what programs are still open. We’ll start hearing about some renewals in January if the years before that are anything to judge.

CBS usually takes a little longer to make a decision. We may get some early renewals around February and March, but some programs are not identified until April and May of the season. We have seen a late extension happen for NCIS: LA Season 13, and there’s a chance that will happen again.

Will NCIS: LA Season 14 take place at CBS?

The big question now is whether CBS will cancel or extend it NCIS: LA for Season 14. We don’t have an exact answer yet, but we can watch live TV ratings to see how the revolution will work.

Live TV ratings are not the only metric used to make the decision. However, they are one of the biggest metrics. Without live viewers, networks cannot charge high amounts for ad space, which means less money for the company. So the show needs to perform well on the network to keep the waves.

Based on The last part of the TV series, there seems to be no reason for CBS to cancel NCIS: LA. The show came in at number eight out of 19 shows in the demo. If we take SEAL Team it has now been ported to Paramount+ exclusively, it still sits at number eight out of 18 scripted shows. It’s in ninth place when it comes to casual audiences.

This looks good for the network. Plus, the show continues to be organized compared to other shows that air on Sunday nights, remaining relatively stable even during football time.

All this depends on the stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. I have a feeling that if both decide not to renew their contracts for another year, the show will be cancelled. We will definitely keep an eye on that.

There are questions about whether Season 13 will happen. I thought CBS was only giving the show a chance to air until the 200th episode and might have thought about canceling it after that. Still, live TV ratings remaining relatively stable could prompt CBS to rethink that plan if it were to go ahead and continue with the show.
