Two historic franchises in the NBA, LA Lakers and Chicago Bulls, is preparing for a hot contest at the Unity Center in Chicago.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently sixth in the Western Conference standings with a 16-14 record, after winning three of their last four games against the likes of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic. LeBron James Continue to be their star as King James is currently averaging over 25 points per game this season.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls, after a great start to the season, have been devastated by the absence of their superstars. Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan. With that said, they are sitting as second seed in the Eastern Conference and will be hoping to get their season back on track after their last two games were postponed.
LA Lakers Injury Report
LA Lakers superstar Anthony Davis was ruled out of the game after sustaining a knee injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Davis will be reevaluated in four weeks’ time. Meanwhile, veterans Trevor Ariza likely to make his pre-season debut against the Bulls as he is listed as problematic for the game.
Dwight Howard, Monk Malik, Avery Bradley, Talen Horton-Tucker, Austin Reeves, and Kendrick Nunn were all absent from the game after testing positive and participating in health and safety protocols.
Chicago Bulls injury report
Superstar Zach LaVine will be a major shortcoming for the Chicago Bulls as he’s on health and safety protocols and won’t be in the game. Derrick Jones Jr., Ayo Dosunmu, Troy Brown Jr. and Alize Johnson were both absent for Billy Donovan and the Chicago Bulls. However, they will have the services of Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.

Russell Westbrook and Wayne Ellington are both poised to be the last mile for the Lakers, with LeBron James and Kent Bazemore set to start on the main run. With Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard absent, let’s hope DeAndre Jordan continues to start as the LA Lakers’ big man.
Chicago Bulls
With Zach LaVine absent, the task will fall to Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso to handle the back lane duties for the Bulls. Javonte Green and DeMar DeRozan are expected to take the lead with big man Nikola Vucevic starting at center.
