KYLIAN MBAPPE wants PSG to make a new move for his good pal and former teammate Bernardo Silva this summer.

The Portugal international has hinted that he will once again be in talks with Manchester City about his future at the end of the season.

In the last two tight seasons he has asked the champions to listen to offers for him as he wants to move closer to his home country.

Nothing suitable was put on the table – but PSG were one of the clubs that expressed the greatest interest in signing the midfielder.

Mbappe is playing an increasingly influential role at the French giants after rebuffing Real Madrid’s interest in signing a new contract last year.

Staying in the French capital himself this summer, he would love Silva, 28, if he joined him.

He spent his early years playing alongside Silva at Monaco and will urge her to try again to land him when the summer window opens.

However, his deal at Etihad runs until 2025 and City are unlikely to let him go unless a big offer comes along.

City plan to sign a new midfielder themselves this summer as skipper Ilkay Gündogan’s contract expires and Silva’s future remains uncertain.

And their coffers will be boosted by £1.5million as their former midfielder Ivan Ilic is ready to join Marseille.

The 21-year-old Serbia international has never played a game for the English champions since joining in the summer of 2017.

Three years later he was sold to Hellas Verona for around £7million – but City included a resale clause of around 25 per cent of future profits.

Despite interest from Brighton, Ilic is ready to join the French club – with a £13m-plus bid on the table.

City also have matching rights on the Serb but don’t want to bring him back.

However, the extra money they make from the deal will boost the summer transfer fund.
