REAL MADRID No. 1 target Kylian Mbappe is in talks over a shocking new contract with PSG.
The French striker, 23, is expected to leave for free when his contract ends this summer.
But walkie talkie says he could be persuaded to sign a short-term contract extension.
It is thought PSG turned down Real’s £134m offer last summer as they wanted at least £171m.
And during this term, Mbappe has scored 18 goals plus 15 assists in 26 games for Mauricio Pochettino’s Ligue 1 leaders.
PSG sporting director Leonardo has always insisted that he will never let his trump card go free.
And Real can still make another sizable bid before the end of this month’s transfer window.
For now, however, Mbappe will face Real in the Champions League round of 16 – in Paris on February 15 and the return leg at the Bernabeu on March 9.
Meanwhile, Pochettino remains favorite for permanent job at Manchester United next season.
