Kylian Mbappe ‘at breaking point with PSG and feels BETRATED after failed transfers – as club demand £300m fee’

According to reports in France, KYLIAN MBAPPE feels “betrayed” by Paris Saint-Germain after the French champions failed to achieve their summer goals.

The French forward ended months of speculation last May by finally signing a three-year contract extension at PSG.

It has now emerged that the £650,000-a-week contract was in fact a two-year deal – with Mbappe having the option to extend it by a third.

However, the prospect of him doing so seems unlikely as the 23-year-old is reportedly already eyeing a move, sensationally demanding that PSG sell him in January following a breakdown in their relationship.

French newspaper L’Equipe claim Mbappe wanted his team to sign Robert Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva and Milan Skriniar in the summer.

PSG dropped former transfer boss Leonardo and appointed Luis Campos to keep Mbappe happy.

And Campos sealed seven signings – he recruited Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Hugo Ekitike, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler.

But those stars don’t seem to have mollified Mbappe.

The 2018 world champion is also said to want to see Neymar’s back – with the two reportedly having clashed.

Mbappe would love to have the Brazilian’s place on the wing, despite Neymar starting the season in brilliant form.

The former Barcelona star has recorded 11 goals and nine assists in 15 games in all competitions so far.

Mbappe is also said to be unhappy with the way he has been deployed by boss Christophe Galtier.

Following PSG’s 0-0 draw with Reims last week, he wrote on Instagram: “Gate a draw, back on Tuesday. #icicestparis #pivotgang.”

Mbappe’s use of #pivotgang caused quite a stir – suggesting he’s unhappy leading the line alone and would rather play with another striker.

PSG have slammed a £300m price tag on Mbappe – but will do so NOT approve a move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe never told me about his intention to leave in January

Liverpool are another team he has considered in the past, although Jurgen Klopp has previously admitted the Reds cannot afford to sign him.

Mbappe was in action last night, just hours after news broke of his desire to leave – hitting the net from the penalty spot as PSG drew 1-1 with Benfica in the Champions League.

When asked about the chaos surrounding the Canal Plus club, Campos said: “Mbappe never told me about his intention to leave in January. We spoke to him, Messi, Ney… we are very happy to be here.

I spoke to Kylian a lot early in the season and listened to his comments very closely

Christopher Galtier

“We have to be very clear that this is not an explanation – it is news that came out just hours before a very important game against Benfica.”

Galtier, meanwhile, downplayed Mbappe’s complaints – adding: “I spoke to Kylian a lot earlier in the season and I was very attentive to his comments when he was playing for France, saying he feels better in Les Bleus’ attacking set -high.

“During pre-season we spoke to Luis Campos and the President [Nasser Al-Khelaifi] getting a fourth forward with a different profile that would allow two forwards and Kylian would play in his preferred area as much as possible.

“Sometimes Kylian finds himself in the middle and feels like he’s a pivot. But he’s a smart player who can adapt.”

Lionel Messi missed last night’s game but TV cameras caught his stony reaction to Mbappe’s penalty in the stands.
