ENGLAND ace Kyle Walker’s flash of shame has sparked a startling row between his wife Annie and fellow Wag Becky Vardy.
Becky lashed out on social media yesterday, and friends said of Annie, 30: “She always didn’t like Becky but now she despises her and doesn’t care who knows.”
Annie was dubbed a “doormat” by Becky as the dispute erupted into a war on rival Wags’ social media.
Pals said Annie was furious with her rival for “pulling her name through the mud” amid the flashes of shame from the England and Man City star.
They added, “Annie has kept a dignified silence, but Becky, who mocks her as ‘victim,’ has made her blush.”
On Sunday — the day the drunk Walker was flirting and flirting with two girlfriends at a bar — Becky, 41, posted on Instagram: “The gift that keeps giving.”
Becky strongly denied that the post had anything to do with Walker or Annie.
But a new post on her Instagram in which she defended herself, Becky fueled fresh anger from her rival.
Becky wrote: “Woke up this morning to my name being associated with another delightful story, on yet another occasion to attack me.
“It’s not funny that she wants to use my name and not that people actually laugh at her for being a doormat.
“The art of distraction to a T. Great at playing the victim is our Annie.
“I think she needs to focus on what’s going on in her own life instead of trying to attack me by dragging me into her drama.
“Believe me, if it was about her, I would have tagged her. she is obsessed . .
“I’m literally tired of being nice to people with short memories.
“I stayed silent while she slammed me in the media and made up lies about me in her small community like a bunch of playground bullies. Just leave me alone.”
Becky added a note: “Tried to tag her but she blocked me.”
Her entry was accompanied by the sound of Michael Jackson’s hit song Smooth Criminal, repeating the lyrics, “Annie, are you alright?”
Those close to Annie said she was angry that Becky was dressing up.
A source said: “Annie is furious that someone like Becky had the audacity to put her down like that in public. She’s been dignifiedly silent the whole time, and now Becky comes out swinging.
“Calling Annie a ‘doormat,’ and the rest of her vitriol is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“After being dragged into the Wagatha Christie legal case, Annie hoped she would never be in Becky’s auras again, but now it has happened.
“She thinks Becky is just using her attention because, as Annie says, Becky thrives out of the spotlight.”
However, those on Becky’s side say she feels she has been wrongly drawn into an argument.
A source said: “Becky is amazed she got dragged into this. She won’t waste her breath on this ridiculous tale, which she firmly believes was invented by Annie to gain sympathy.
“As for Becky, she’s been misnamed again and finds that completely unfair.”
Becky is understood to say she didn’t blame Annie for being a “doormat” herself.
Annie, who is friends with Coleen Rooney, was dragged into Coleen and Becky’s Wagatha defamation trial last year.
Becky said Annie was behind a posed photo of the wags at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. She told the High Court in London that Annie was behind the idea.
At the time, Annie was not publicly speaking and remained seemingly impartial to the drama.
The Sun told this week how CCTV footage showed £150,000-a-week defender Walker dropping his sweatpants and exposing himself at the Revolution Bar in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Sunday night.
A woman with him shrieked and pointed at the player, who was well visible to other drinkers.
The video also showed Walker groping and kissing a woman.
The faltering City star was spotted boozing and dirty dancing at the bar before departing in a minibus after settling the £250 bill.
Annie, the mother of her three boys, later blasted her husband as a “d**k” after learning about his antics.
Police spoke to Revolution staff on Wednesday and took away video of the star’s 90-minute visit to the bar with the women and male friends. They check whether a crime has been committed.
City has declined to publicly address the scandal, insisting his conduct was a personal matter. He was in training on Wednesday.
Women’s Aid, a domestic violence charity, slammed him, saying: “Whether it’s done to shock, for a so-called laugh, or to intimidate, for those affected by indecent exposure, there can be long-term effects, upset and trauma.” give.
“It can give the person who exposes themselves a sense of power in the situation.
“And if there’s no repercussion, it might give them the confidence to see what they can get away with next time.”
Last year, Becky lost her Wagatha Christie claim for substantial damages from Coleen, who accused her of leaking “fake” private Instagram stories to the media without permission.
Ms Justice Steyn ruled that Becky and her agent “deliberately deleted or destroyed evidence” to cover their tracks ahead of the legal battle that left Becky with a £3million bill.
