KSI will make his big return to the boxing ring to take on rival Swarmz in London.

The YouTuber’s original opponent, Alex Wassabi, was forced to retire due to an injury at training camp.

Wassabi wrote on Instagram: “With all these rumors, there are only two things that are true.

“I recently sustained a serious injury and will be back very soon.

“You don’t play with concussions. New fight date announcement on the way.”

So KSI will take on Swarmz instead, despite Jake Paul’s request to pick HIM as the Brit’s next opponent.

• KSI’s clash with Swarmz takes place on Saturday, August 27th.
• The fight will take place at the O2 Arena in London.
• Ring walks for the Main Event start at 10:30pm UK time.

“I just want to say that one of the main goals of that first fight at the end of the day was to get rid of the ring rust,” KSI said after the announcement.

“I wanted to prove to myself that I’m a better boxer than I’ve portrayed in the past. If you want to see, fine.

“If not, fine. I’m going to do it anyway. There are still a lot of good fights on this map that I’m looking forward to.

“We are the only YouTube boxing event taking place this summer.

“Many things tried to disrupt this event, but we stand anyway. This is a long-term game and I like to take a small L now for a large W later.”

Jake Paul has something to say about the fight though.

“KSI vs Swampz… Don’t they have any music together?” he wrote on Twitter.

“He’s fighting someone who has never fought before and that’s his friend…

“This fight should be in vain.”
