Kourtney Kardashian kicks off 43rd birthday weekend with ‘Blast Cake’ and a special gift from Travis Barker

KOURTNEY Kardashian kicked off her birthday weekend with a Mickey explosion cake and a bouquet of roses from fiancé Travis Barker.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum embraced her inner Disney princess at the start of her 43rd birthday.

Kourtney took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to take a look at some of her birthday gifts from friends and family.

The reality star received several beautiful bouquets, most notably an arrangement of white and red roses from Travis, 46.

The TV personality also documented a celebratory birthday cake that was shaped in the shape of Mickey ears, covered in black sprinkles and had her name written in yellow frosting.

Kourtney slowly cut the cake into the clip, revealing white and red layers of cake with white frosting in between.

An explosion of white, red, and black spatter spilled onto the table.

The Hulu star captioned her post, “Yummmm and yeah I know I forgot the plate on the last slide,” as the cake was strewn all over the kitchen counter.

Kourtney later channeled her inner Cinderella as she shared a snap of Travis pulling a black heeled shoe onto her foot.

The TV star collaged the image with a classic shot of the princess’s glass slipper.

But the photo came after fan backlash at the pair over their excessive foot interactions on social media.

Late last year, Travis kissed Kourtney’s foot and posted the photo to his social media account.

He captioned the post, “All I Want for Christmas.”

The mother-of-three replied in the comments, “You were extra nice.”

However, fans were not amused by the online gesture and one wrote: “Please stop this.”

Another commented, “Travis wtf,” while a third said, “Yo what?”

Another added: “You have time to delete this.”

PDA PARADE

Critics have repeatedly begged the couple to ease up on their incessant PDA, though they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

On Kourtney’s birthday last April, Travis shared a video of her sucking his thumb as they shared an intimate moment.

The drummer posted several adorable photos of the couple snogging, cuddling, hugging and holding hands to celebrate her birthday.

He filmed the personal moment with Kourtney as the camera flashed her face and she laughed and said, “Travis!”

Travis captioned his post: “IF**KING LOVE YOU! YOU ARE A BLESSING TO THIS WORLD HAPPY BIRTHDAY @kourtneykardash.”

FRIENDS FOR LOVERS

During the premiere of the famous family’s new Hulu series, The Kardashians, Kourtney opened up about how their love story began and admitted she made the first move.

The Poosh founder explained that things got romantic with Travis in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Last year during the pandemic we texted and I just released it with flirtatious conversations,” she said in the episode.

“When I finally announced it, he asked me to watch a movie and he didn’t move the whole movie.”

When the producer asked Kourtney who went for the first kiss, she replied, “Me! I did. It took him a long time.

“The movie was over and then we started another movie and I was like, ‘I don’t have time for this movie marathon,’ so I took the first step.”
