Klay Thompson is one of the most talented and explosive players of the past decade. The Golden State Warriors and their fans are clearly excited to have him back, but the rest of the NBA fraternity is also hoping to see the sharp goalscorer return after a long absence. face due to trauma.

The Golden State Warriors hold the league’s best record as Klay Thompson is about to return.

The Golden State Warriors didn’t start the 2021-22 NBA season as the all-time favorite to win the title. Three months into the season, Dubs tried to change that narrative by announcing the best record in the league. They are 29-7 for the season following a 115-108 win over the Miami Heat.

The most commendable part about the Golden State Warriors’ streak of success to date is that they did not achieve this without the services of Klay Thompson and James Wiseman. In their absence, Stephen Curry was playing at MVP level, while Draymond Green looked like an All-Star.

Their supporting cast including Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton II have also stepped up significantly, making the franchise look like a legitimate contender once again.

Even if Klay Thompson does go up to 70-80% of his actual potential, the Golden State Warriors will benefit immensely from that. They’ve been a team to beat and one can only imagine the heights they could reach when Thompson returns to the roster.
