KIM Kardashian has been criticized for covering her entire face in a “creepy” mask as part of her latest Balenciaga look.
The reality star, 41, concealed her features with the dramatic black accessory as she left a dinner for the fashion brand in Paris on Wednesday night.
Kim went completely incognito in the mask, which was slit across her head and curved under her chin.
She paired it with a skin-tight black sequin dress with long sleeves and a high collar.
The mother-of-four had worn the dress earlier in the day but didn’t add the mask until later as she left the Balenciaga Couture dinner.
Her critics slammed the look, asking Kim to stop opting for masked outfits.
One wrote on Reddit: “This reminds me of American Horror Story.”
Another wrote: “Well… at least it’s on topic and gives me flashbacks to that spooky Balenciaga show.”
A third wrote: “I can’t handle this anymore. Please let it stop.”
Another commented: “As IMO it’s disappointing and boring. Reminds me of her Peter Pan shadow costume.”
The user was referring to Kim’s controversial head-to-toe covered outfit for last year’s Met Gala.
She wore a black curved t-shirt under a dress with jersey boots, pantalleggings, jersey gloves, a dramatic train and a mask that hid her entire face.
THE MET DRESS
After facing backlash on social media, Kim defended her fashion choice.
She shared a ton of photos of the outfit and behind-the-scenes snaps with her glam squad on Instagram.
Referring to the Met Gala’s theme of “American Independence,” she captioned the post, “What’s more American than a head-to-toe t-shirt?!”
Kim also shared a post in which Filipino fashion blogger Bryanboy called her outfit “sheer brilliance”.
Meanwhile, the SKIMS founder faced more backlash during her Paris trip for her “boring” runway walk at the Balenciaga fashion show.
She walked the runway for Balenciaga’s haute couture show with Bella Hadid, 25, Nicole Kidman, 55, and Dua Lipa, 26.
Kim looked stoic and poised as she unveiled one of designer Demna’s latest stylings for Balenciaga’s 51st couture collection during her Paris Fashion Week debut.
Critics claimed she had a “dead stare” and was the “least interesting to look at”.
Kim’s trip to Paris comes after she admitted she’s lost 21 pounds in just over a month amid fears from her family that she’s “the skinniest she’s ever been”.
Kim shocked fans in May when she first said she lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress for the Met Gala.
The SKIMS founder told Vogue on the red carpet: “I tried [the dress] and it didn’t suit me. I said, ‘Give me three weeks.’
“I had to lose 16 pounds today. It was such a challenge. It was like a [movie] Role. I was determined to pass [into] it. I haven’t had any carbs or sugar for about three weeks.”
And late last month, Kim admitted she’s lost even more weight after sticking to the ultra-strict diet.
She said on the TODAY show, “It actually taught me a lot about my lifestyle and my health, and I’ve continued to eat very healthily since then.
“I mean, I’ve lost 21 pounds now. I’m not trying to lose any more weight, but I have more energy than ever.
