Kieran Tierney lasts just 30 MINUTES after returning from a three-month injury layoff as Arsenal fans all say the same thing

KIERAN TIERNEY caused groans and groans from Arsenal fans when the injury-struggling left-back was substituted just 30 minutes after Saturday’s 5-3 friendly win over Nuremberg.
Boss Mikel Arteta relieved Tierney in his first match in three months with no problems.

And fans have rallied to insist the Gunners cannot endure another season with fitness issues down the left flank of their defense.
But many fans lashed out at some colleagues – assuming Tierney was injured again rather than being treated reasonably.
New £45m striker Gabriel Jesus was a goalscorer as he inspired Arsenal’s entertaining 2-0 win.
But joy at Jesus’ immediate impact following the move from champions Manchester City was shared with concern for Tierney.

One fan wrote: “Need a reliable first choice LB. Arsenal can’t afford to bet on him for another season. After 30 minutes he is injured again.”
And another said: “Yeah, I’m upset that we didn’t buy Aaron Hickey, who we’ve been linked with. Both play a similar style of play and he can play both Lb and Rb.
“If KT is out, we don’t play that easy.”
But others suggested Arteta was only sensible in giving Scottish star Tierney such a brief cameo.
A supporter pointed out: “He came off exactly in the 30th minute and he did the same thing last preseason. I suppose it’s just to give the players some playing time. He looks good when I do that see game.”
Some noted that Tierney warmed up at halftime – suggesting his early retirement was part of his fitness master plan.
But an angry supporter lashed out at fans and immediately blasted Arteta, unaware of Tierney’s true fate.
He wrote: “I get the early panic when I see Tierney drop out.
“But panic lasting long enough for people to tweet about it in the next 10 minutes only demonstrates the inability of this fanbase who seem capable of ‘criticizing a PL manager’s tactics and decision-making’.”
