Khloe Kardashian’s son had a different name at birth before she hastily “changed” it, and it wasn’t just his last name

KHLOE Kardashian reportedly had a different first and last name when her son Tatum Thompson was born.
The reality star initially gave her 10-month-old daughter the surname Kardashian instead of her baby daddy’s surname Tristan Thompson, sources have claimed.
Khloe welcomed Tatum — her second child with Tristan — via a surrogate in August 2022.
Accordingly, the 38-year-old officially introduced her son as a Kardashian at birth TMZ.
She later changed it to Thompson and that’s his official name now.
It’s unclear why Khloe originally chose her last name for her son – but his birth came after Tristan cheated on Khloe with Maralee Nichols and secretly fathered a son with her.

The source also claimed Tatum wasn’t her son’s original first name – but didn’t reveal what her original choice was.
The US Sun exclusively revealed last month that Khloe’s son Tatum is named Robert Thompson.
The Kardashians star had kept her son’s name a secret for nine months and vowed to debut it on the third season of her family’s Hulu reality show.
A source said Khloe has resisted promptings from her family, particularly mother Kris, to give the baby the first name Robert, after Khloe’s late father Robert Kardashian and brother Rob.
Instead, she decided to use Robert as the boy’s middle name, in honor of her lawyer father passed away almost 20 years ago in September 2003, and her beloved younger brother, according to the source.
The insider said: “There was talk of whether it should be Tatum Robert or whether it should be Robert Tatum.
“Some in the family leaned more towards Robert because it honors their father and brother.
“Kris in particular wanted the baby to be named Robert and guided Khloe to do so.”
“It took Khloe a while to decide on the name, but she ultimately settled on Tatum Robert, which matches Tristan’s and True’s names, which start with a T.”
“UNUSUAL NAME”
The insider continued, “Khloe wanted a name that’s kind of unusual but not too flashy and also fits the T theme.”
Khloe shares both baby Tatum and five-year-old daughter True with LA Lakers basketball player Tristan.
The 32-year-old is also father to sons Theo, 16 months, with Maralee Nichols and Prince, six, with ex-model girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Tristan announced in January 2022 that he had secretly fathered a son in 2021 with his lover, fitness model Maralee Nichols, 31.
After a month of speculation, Tristan confirmed he is the father of son Theo and publicly apologized to Khloe.
It turns out Khloe and Tristan had fathered another child via a surrogate before she found out about his cheating scandal.
Last month, Khloe admitted she felt separated from Tatum because she had him through a surrogate.
The Good American founder criticized the surrogacy process, which she described as transactional, and said she feels guilty because another woman gave birth to her child.
During a conversation with her sister Kim and Scott Disick during the season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, she reflected on the trip.
Khloe said, “The surrogacy process, Kim knows, is really hard for me.”
KHLOES PAIN
Kim explained to Scott, “She had a very hard time accepting the whole process,” as Khloe said, “It’s crazy. It really is the strangest thing.”
Kim added, “I think it makes a difference when the baby is in your belly, the baby actually feels your true heart.”
“There is no one else on this planet who can feel you from the inside out like that.”
Khloe looked like she was holding back tears as she admitted she feels closer to Tatum than her five-year-old daughter True.
Speaking in a confessional, she said: “I definitely stuck my head in the sand during this pregnancy because I didn’t digest what happened.
“When I went to the hospital, I really think it was the first time it was really registered.”
“It’s nothing to do with the baby, but I was in general shock from my entire experience.
“I felt very guilty that this woman just had a baby and then you take the baby and go to another room.”

Khloe continued, “It’s such a transactional experience because it’s not about him.”
“I wish someone would be honest about surrogacy and the differences it entails. That doesn’t mean she’s bad, she’s just different.”
