The photo featured a close-up of Khloe’s cheek surgery after melanoma removal.
Captioned: “Never forget reality,” the snap focused on the sewn incision with a tape measure showing a 4cm incision length.
The creator of the post wrote: “Sorry for the poor quality, captured by my laptop from my phone. I’m surprised they showed that.”
In the comments thread, fans were less concerned about the surgery and more focused on the Good American co-founder’s complexion.
One person wrote: “Mustache stubble!!! So personable and courageous to be so open.”
Another fan added: “Yes! She also has facial hair! Haha normal.”
A third commenter jokingly asked, “Are those… pores?!”
While a fourth fan commented, “Ignoring the cut and spending so much money on cosmetic procedures you’d think her skin would be flawless. She has so many blackheads.”
Khloe, 38, revealed the jagged scar on her face season 3 Hulu series trailer.
During the preview, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians graduate once revealed a noticeable scar on her left cheek.
Her sister Kylie Jenner, 25, was then heard addressing the victim and pointing out the reality TV star’s frightening diagnosis.
“Mom just told me it’s melanoma,” Kylie said in the clip.
A photo then flashed of Khloe’s cheek showing multiple stitches, indicating she had recently undergone surgery.
In a confessional interview, matriarch Kris Jenner, 67, shared her concerns about her daughter’s condition, saying: “It’s very concerning on her face.”
A clip of Khloe followed with a large face bandage that went from chin to cheekbone.
Fans got another look at Khloe’s bandaged face in another scene, in which Khloe, looking serious, had a serious, seated conversation with her best friend Malika Haqq, 40.
“I don’t think I saw you that deeply,” Malika said to her childhood friend.
FEAR FOR KHLOE
Kendall Jenner, 27, has also noticed changes in the mother-of-two’s behavior lately and noted it in another scene.
“She’s not sleeping. She’s lost a lot of weight,” the 27-year-old said of her big sister.
The video then showed footage from an exam room where someone was undergoing an MRI scan. However, there is no way to tell if it was Khloe.
However, the KUWTK graduate did mention her possible diagnosis in a confessional interview and admitted things were a lot worse than she first thought.
“Melanoma is deadly. It was way more serious than I expected,” Khloe told the camera, though the scar wasn’t as noticeable as in other scenes.
That part of the teaser ended with Malika hugging Khloe who was lying on the couch with a bandage on her face.
FANS’ CONCERNS
In September, Khloe sparked concern from fans after she was spotted with a flesh-colored bandage on her cheek.
The photo was taken by a fan in Milan, where Khloe was attending the Dolce & Gabbana runway show.
Earlier this month, she was spotted wearing the same bandage while filming The Kardashians.
Fans shared their fears on a message board at the time, with one writing: “Has anyone else spotted the huge bandage? I really hope she’s okay.”
Another suggested: “She could have burned herself? It’s a blister bandage.”
A third user suggested it was a hydrocolloid dressing used to treat acne.
“I used these (hydrocolloid bandages, aka giant pimple patches) when I had bad cystic acne that came on in patches. Worked better than anything else and I’ve tried everything.”
The reality star also appeared to have the bandage on her face days earlier during a trip to Malibu Beach with her five-year-old daughter True.
Khloe shares True and an eight-month-old son with her ex Tristan Thompson, 32.
