Owens outperformed Priest when using the “injured leg” technique. When asked jokingly on Twitter by a fan, he provided an update on the injury.
Kevin Owens was hosting the KO Show with Seth Rollins as his guest, and he was interrupted by US Champion Damia Priest. It resulted in a non-title match between the two, with Owens becoming the first on the main roster to pin Priest in singles.
To do so, he used a Eddie Guerrero-like the fake technique that injured his leg, allowing him to momentarily stun a distracted Priest.
Owens was just faking a leg injury, but one fan sarcastically asked him how it was. Owens gave a “sane” response in the process:
It was simply Owens’ personality. Many felt that he took it to another level after re-signing. He’s been in a prominent position, especially since he joined the WWE championship-winning feud in December.
His pairing with Seth Rollins has only elevated him above RAW.
Is championship glory waiting for Kevin Owens?
Both Owens and Damian Priest have announced their participation in the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match. While neither is expected to win it, don’t be surprised if Owens topples and knocks out the US Champion to move on. their enmity.
Owens vs Priest could be US Title’s next big feud on RAW. Since Priest’s momentum has faltered a bit since Survivor Series, it shouldn’t be surprising that WWE rewarded Owens with his fourth US championship.
