Kevin Clifton on changing routines for serious prom

Before Seriously come to dance dancer Kevin Clifton said ‘rules are always changing’ after Kai Widdrington and AJ Odudu accused of fraud.

33 years old TV presenter and her 26 year old dance partner Viewers are shocked for all the wrong reasons on a Saturday night when an ambitious dance begins BBC’s long-running program sent.

She tried to do a filming but things didn’t go as planned and she accidentally slapped Kai in the face with her thigh.

There were some viewers who accused the couple of changing their habits when it came to the dance portion of the results show where they saw off their competitors Dan Walker, 44 years old, and Nadiya Bychkova, 32 years old.

In Kevin’s podcast, he and Joanne Clifton discussed routines when the subject turned to AJ and Kai.

Recalling whether or not a routine change was allowed, he said, “There’s something in me that tells me you’re not allowed to change your routine for the dance.

“You’re not supposed to change anything about the routine but I could have been wrong.”

“The bell rings for some reason. I don’t know. The rules change all the time,” he added.

Both Kai and AJ dealt with the accusations when they showed up on It Take Two, host Rylan Clark asked them about it.

The duo spoke to the hosts about how they made the move in the second half that gave them a chance to reach the semi-finals.

AJ said: “I felt like a star, but then it all went downhill. I was messed up, just a mess.”

Kai said, “We had amazing choreography last week but I told them we don’t want to let it happen and we will do injustice to AJ if we don’t. cross boundaries.

“You’re going to feel this way because you want to push the boundaries, you want it to be memorable, you don’t want it to be just ‘fine’.

“I didn’t give my best. I’d rather do it and make mistakes than just play it safe. I think it’s good that we crossed the line.”

AJ said, “We’ve never played safe once. Every dance is outside of my comfort zone and I know it’s a tough habit because it’s also challenging for Kai. That’s when you know, when the pro finds it hard.

“But really I’d rather stumble over it than just have a ride.”
