Kelly Ripa tells the live audience that following her recent absence from this morning’s performance, she “will likely be gone tomorrow or forever.”

After opening up about a night out in the New York City heat, Kelly let the audience know she “may not be here tomorrow.”

“Listen, just so you know,” she said while picking up a piece of paper from the desk. “I probably won’t be here tomorrow or forever because I’m going to crack the $900 million Powerball.”

The audience cheered as their co-host Mark Consuelos giggled.

“Oh, now that I’m a member of the show, can I get a ticket?” Mark asked.

“Did you step in the pool?” Kelly asked.

“When does that happen?” her husband replied.

“Uh, we’re raising money for the new one. Yes,” Kelly said.

“But I have a part-time job. I have the office pool which will no doubt lead to a lawsuit, which is why I’ve secured my backend because I have my own side hustle tickets that I don’t have to split between the 40 people who contribute to it.”

Kelly said her plan is to move to the south of France while Mark stays here and works with Jenny Mullen.

“No one will even notice I’m gone. They’ll just think I’ve done my job,” Kelly joked.

“It will be great. I figured the whole thing out.”

Kelly finished with a joke: “I’ll miss you all, but thanks.”

Last Thursday, Kelly was temporarily replaced by Bravo star Andy Cohen when she took a break from the show.

Mark was joined at the hosts’ desk by one of his and Kelly’s best friends, Andy.

After welcoming him as the guest co-star of the day, Mark briefly shared why his wife and usual on-air partner wasn’t at the table.

He teased that Kelly was “on duty” at the moment, which caused her to miss the show.

Mark didn’t reveal when she would return to Live.

In August 2022, viewers noticed that the hostess was more than a week away from Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Ryan joked about Kelly’s absence during a hilarious segment.

During the bargain shopping segment, the guest displayed custom embroidered cushions with different names.

While holding up the pillow made for Kelly, the guest said, “Kelly, we miss you. We got you a Consuelos pillow.”
