KELLIE Picker’s husband Kyle Jacobs celebrated a major milestone in his songwriting career just two days before his death.

The celebrity Nashville hitmaker was found dead Friday in the $2.4 million home he shared with country music singer wife Kellie.

But Kyle’s 21,900 followers on Instagram could never have seen the tragedy coming.

As recently as Wednesday, he announced to fans that an album he had been working on had just gone platinum.

Lee Brice’s Hey World, which Kyle contributed to as a songwriter, reached the RIA milestone of 1,000,000 units.

“Platinum?! SWEET!” Kyle wrote in the caption.

“An amazing crew of incredibly talented people put this together… deeply honored to be a creative part of this… thank you Jesus!”

Fans have since descended on the post’s comments to share their tribute to the late songwriter.

“Just shocked and so sad. The world has lost an incredible talent,” one wrote.

Another shared a message with Kyle’s wife, writing: “My heart breaks for Kellie. I send love, prayers and strength.”

TRAGICAL TURN

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed this to The US Sun. On Friday, Kyle was the victim of a suicide at his and Kellie’s home.

He shot himself in an upstairs bedroom/office of their mansion, police officers said in a statement.

“Mr. Jacobs’ wife, Kellie Pickler, reported that she woke up shortly before, did not see her husband and began searching for him,” the statement said.

“After she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant called 911.”

COUNTRY COUPLE

Kyle is a well-known character in Nashville, writing, among others, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker, and Garth Brooks.

He even co-wrote Garth’s number one hit, More Than A Memory.

Kellie went on to have a successful country music career of her own after her breakthrough role in American Idol season five.

Known for her hit song Best Days of Your Life, she hosts a weeklong SiriusXM show, The Highway.

After meeting in a Nashville bar in 2007, Kellie and Kyle dated for a number of years before eloping to Antigua in 2011.

Their relationship was the focus of a CMT reality show, I Love Kellie Pickler, which ran for three seasons.

They don’t share children.
