PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – We’re only a week away from Christmas Day, and for many people that means one thing: last-minute shopping.

Going out the weekend before Christmas to get people off your shopping list can be a sign of madness, but it comes with risks, especially if you have a lot of stops to make. .
If you still have a lot of gifts left to buy, the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety recommends making sure those valuables, packages, and shopping bags are safe in your vehicle, especially where it’s located. out of sight.
Keep your gifts in the trunk or covered, and when you get home, make sure to bring them all with you.
Also, when shopping inside stores, be sure to bring a wallet and/or wallet inside, even if you believe it will be a quick stop.
