KATY Perry has wowed her fans after seemingly dropping a major hint about her upcoming new music.
Fans have been begging the singer to release new tracks as she focuses on her performance on American Idol.

But it may finally be, as Katy said during her recent Las Vegas concert.
A video A snap from the audience, shared on Twitter, shows Katy cheering up her fans as she performs on stage.
In a form-fitting, sequined gown, the Fireworks singer told the crowd, “If you can’t love me in my Witness-or-Smile era, you can’t love me in my KP6 era either.”
The 38-year-old appeared to be referring to her previous albums, 2017’s Witness and 2020’s Smile, the last album she dropped after a hiatus from touring.
She also seemed to tease that she’s releasing new music, something that’s been long-awaited by her devoted fans.
“MY HEART IS SO HAPPY TO KNOW THAT KP6 IS ON ITS WAY. THANK YOU SO MUCH,” one excited tweeted.
“Oh she spilled the tea,” wrote another, and a third boasted, “Oh Katy makes a hugely successful comeback with KP6.”

Earlier this month, fans thought they’d spotted numerous clues that new music from the Teenage Dream singer was on the way.

For one, they noticed that she wore a large butterfly ring Instagram Photos promoting her appearance on Good Morning America.
The butterfly means something to Katy liked a tweet in May about it being a symbol of a new era.
“I don’t know if you noticed, but at the end of Roar’s presentation some butterflies appeared and that’s just one of the symbols Katy has been using the most lately. I bet the next era is coming and it will be “Anything related to this topic,” the Twitter user wrote, catching Katy’s attention.
The butterfly also appeared at the end of Katy’s music video for her 2012 hit “Wide Awake.”

Many fans worried that the singer had put her singing career on hold since she was a judge on Idol.
In 2018, she joined the judging panel alongside Lionel Richie, 74, and Luke Bryan, 47, and it was recently announced that she would be returning to her post for the show’s upcoming season.
Some accused Katy of choosing a “comfortable job” by continuing her role in the singing competition instead of working on her own music.
Others have labeled her job at Idol “career-damaging” and urged her to resign, which Katy reportedly considered as well.
FAMILY TIME
In May, The US Sun revealed that Katy was considering leaving her judge’s seat to spend more time with her family.
According to an ABC insider, Katy wanted to “adjust” her busy schedule to make time for her Pirates of the Caribbean actor fiancé Orlando Bloom, 46.
“Since they both work so much on projects, time as a family is also very precious.”
Katy has daughter Daisy, two, with Orlando, who is also father to son Flynn, 10, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, 40.
“She has spoken about wishing for more sleep this season and feeling a lot more emotional than usual,” the source said.
They also mentioned their desire to travel the world again and the financial benefits it would bring to their family.
“The money she could make from a few stadium appearances could dwarf the deal ABC can offer,” the insider added.
