Kate Middleton’s touching tribute to the Queen on her royal tour

THE DUCHESS of Cambridge has paid a touching tribute to the Queen during the Royal Caribbean tour, according to an expert.

Stylist Hannah Eichler explained to the Daily Mail how Kate Middleton, 40, cleverly uses her wardrobe to pay a subtle but effective tribute to Her Majesty.

Over the past seven days, the Duchess of Cambridge has stunned fans around the world with her colorful outfits, including striking looks in bright pinks, oranges and yellows.

And now, Hannah has revealed that the choice of colorful clothes wasn’t just a fashion statement, but more importantly a deliberate nod to the Queen, 95, who is known for her love of bright outfits.

“Whether it’s orange for optimism, blue for confidence, red for love or yellow for warmth, Kate has followed the Queen’s cue by using color to evoke strong feelings of energy in herself and her subjects – a key tool when exploring new lands visited and engaged with those around them.

“On the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Platinum Jubilee Tour of the Caribbean, Kate dressed in shades of blue, red, khaki and now yellow to impress,” she said.

Sarah noted that vibrant shades have long been a favorite of the royal family, but nobody has championed the look like the Queen herself.

“From yellow, blue, pink and orange, every shade of the rainbow has made its way into the matriarchy’s wardrobe.

“A lover of colour, the Duchess paid homage to the Queen during her tour this week and while these colorful looks will no doubt receive the royal nod of approval, they also make a statement about Kate’s emotions.

The professional stylist also explained that scientists have claimed that dopamine dressing triggers a range of different moods.

“Whether it’s orange for optimism, blue for confidence, red for love or yellow for warmth, Kate has followed the Queen’s cue, using color to evoke powerful feelings of energy in herself and her subjects – a key tool when exploring new lands visited and engaged with those around them.

“The key difference to Kate’s approach to dopamine dressing is that the Queen is always seen with a hat to match.

“Negating a hat gives the Duchess a modern, more relaxed feel that’s appropriate for a younger member of the Royal Family while respecting the Queen’s signature aesthetic,” added Sarah.

A colleague, Miranda Holder, shared the same sentiment when she said, “She hits the sartorial sweet spot, striking the perfect balance between on-trend brights and color blocks and the timeless elegance she’s known and loved for. ”

“The bright colors she chose radiate health and happiness, and there are more than a few subtle references to Her Majesty the Queen, who has long been known for her iconic brightly colored outfits, with color blocking in some of her dress choices.”

Here, Miranda used Roksanda’s canary yellow dress and Jenny Packham’s cobalt blue suit as examples, which she felt “felt like a meaningful, celebratory tribute before the milestone anniversary.”
