Kardashian fans share their theory on why Kim looks “so different” in the new preview of American Horror Story: Delicate

KARDASHIAN fans were blown away by their first glimpse of Kim in her role in American Horror Story Season 12.
Netizens had a theory as to why Kim – starring as Siobhan Walsh on AHS: Delicate – was unrecognizable in the clip compared to her Instagram account.
The 44-year-old megastar was shown in his role for the first time in the short film teaser trailer on Saturday.
Kim sat at a large desk, her long brunette hair falling down her side while wearing a black top that exposed one shoulder.
She adorned it with a spooky necklace and told another character, not in the picture, “Have fun with it.”
American Horror Story: Delicate, starring Kim, Emma Roberts and Cara Delevigne, premieres September 20.

Although the teaser was only about five seconds long and “Enjoy this” was her only sentence, it caused quite a stir on X, formerly Twitter.
Pop Crave and other big actors shared Kim’s character screenshot and received over 20,000 likes.
“First look at Kim Kardashian as Siobhan in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate,'” wrote Pop Crave.
Users went wild when someone tweeted with a quote: “As WHO??”
And another one: “In this still picture you can see how bad she is. I can’t wait to tune in.”
“Your team didn’t photoshop them”
Over on Reddit, fans have focused on her face — apart from jokes about the name or Kim’s potential acting skills in her first fictional role.
She showed natural age lines, particularly around her eyes and cheeks.
Many suspected that this was closer to her real appearance, as Kim is known to edit her photos for Instagram.
One person wrote: “Why does it look like Kim but not Kim at the same time?”
Another replied, “Because her team didn’t photoshop her and she looks her age.”
A third ripped: “Her face looks so saggy in here! It’s crazy because it would look perfectly normal if she wasn’t photoshopping her stuff like crazy, but because we only see heavily edited photos it’s a lot more upsetting.”
However, a fourth agreed: “Exactly. My first thought was, now we’re going to see what she REALLY looks like.”
A fifth wrote: “Her show is heavily filtered to her liking, this show is not.”
A sixth wrote: “That’s probably closer to her actual appearance.”
And a seventh shamelessly wrote: “Her left eye seems more affected by the fillers, and her bad nose. Maybe she’ll find it easier to see her face on screen without the heavy filters she’s used to?”
“Interesting to see her face unfiltered,” wrote another.
Kim’s horror story era
Kim’s first poster in the anthology series was released in mid-August.
Kim was unrecognizable with a long blonde wig, thick black lashes and red lipstick.
The mother-of-four wore a white crop top and fitted skirt and had a giant spider on her stomach.
The upcoming season will premiere in two parts, however it is not yet known how the episodes will be split.
Season 11 aired two back-to-back episodes each week.
Showrunner Ryan Murphy recently defended his decision to cast Kim for his show.
He said The Hollywood Reporter: “Kim is one of the biggest and brightest stars on television and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family.
“Emma and I are excited to be working with this true force in culture.
“Halley Feiffer wrote a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we’ve ever done.”

Ryan was reportedly taken with Kim and her acting skills after seeing her on Saturday Night Live in October 2021.
The couple reportedly met to talk about creating a unique role for her at AHS.
