Kardashian fans believe Kim used a “tool to make fake tears” after spotting a clue in the background of the “cringey” KUWTK clip

KARDASHIAN fans have expressed that they believe Kim used a “tool to make fake tears” after spotting a clue in the background of a Keeping Up With the Kardashians clip.

Both the Hulu original The Kardashians and its E! Series predecessors have been accused of faking moments for television.

Kim’s crying face became a meme after the KUWTK episode aired

The famous KUWTK scene shows Kim Kardashian, 41, sister Kourtney, 43, admitting she is no longer in love with then-husband Kris Humphries, 37.

The clip begins with Kim admitting she went insane while she and the ex-NBA forward were having dinner because she “had nothing to talk to him about.”

She continues by acknowledging that Kris “has a good heart, he’s a Christian, he’s everything on paper that…I want in someone, but for some reason my heart doesn’t connect.”

Kourtney listens to Kim, her feelings hidden behind her famously icy exterior.

Kim explains that she’s been trying to make the relationship work, and while it’s not, she wants her family to support her.

At this moment, some fans are suspecting that a bit of Hollywood ploy is afoot.

The SKIMS founder breaks down when she asks her sister: ‘Do you think I feel good? I met this guy from Minnesota and I feel terrible that I made him move here [and] change his whole life”.

The camera pans from Kourtney and lands on a sweaty-cheeked Kim as the reality star’s face contorts to make the now famous, endlessly taunted, openly taunted Kim weep.

The roaring TV personality admits, “I feel bad for him, I’m sad, I feel bad for the guy.”

Kim cries as she tells Kourtney she feels bad for wasting “everyone’s time,” “everyone’s money,” and “everything everything.”

While some Kardashian fans were touched by the Hulu star’s seemingly genuine admission of guilt, others called “bull” what they felt was an over-the-top TV facade.

One Redditor claimed, “She used a howling stick for this scene and has done so regularly throughout this broadcast.”

CROCODILE TEARS

Another asked, albeit somewhat jokingly, “What is a crying stick? Like hitting her with it?”

A third Redditor explained, “No, Kryolan Tear Stick. Actors use it to cry on film. It’s shaped like a tube of lipstick. It contains menthol and camphor. Rubbing it on the skin under your eyes releases the fumes that rise up to your eyes and make your eyes water.”

They continued, “She never touches her eyes to wipe away the tears. Also, you can see where she already cried and the mascara ran. They cut that scene and started over because it wasn’t good enough the first time.”

One Kardashian fan asked, “Can you confirm that…or are you just speculating?”

Again, a Redditor responded to back up the allegation: “The show’s producer confirmed it in a court case. Kris Humphries also confirmed it.”

They finished by adding, “Kris Humphries says Kim has her own ‘tear wand’ that makes it look like she was sobbing.”

REENACTING FOR A RECOVERY

The Kardashians have a history of spoofing or embellishing parts of the show, more recently some keen-eyed fans spotted a sign that an emotional scene had been re-shot.

The moment was thought to have been filmed in October 2021 as Travis and Kourtney got engaged.

Kris Jenner, 66, got emotional and wiped away tears as she read Travis’ text on her phone, with partner Corey Gamble next to her.

Looking smothered, she read: “A year ago today I fell in love with you, one night with you was all it took.

“You’ve been one of my best friends for years. I have admired and adored you for so long. You are the love of my life.”

Minutes later, Kris called her daughters Kim and Kylie to let them know Travis and Kourtney’s engagement party was still ongoing.

However, keen-eyed viewers noted that their contact names were all listed in 2022 – months after the proposal took place.

Kim was listed as “Kimbo 2022” while Kylie was called “Kylie New New 2022”.

During the scene, the girls – who were on speakerphone calls – shared their excitement at what appeared to be a party to come.

Critics flooded Reddit to express their frustration with the reality stars for “faking” the moment.

‘IS EVERY SCENE REAL?’

One wrote: “Did anyone notice how during – Kris was on the phone with Travis and cried when he texted her – scene she called Kim and it was ‘Kimbo 2022’????

“So they reshot/re-enacted/faked that scene? Where’s her Emmy? Kourtney and Travis got engaged in October 2021, hmmmmm.”

Another wrote: “Oh my god I never would have realized that! Damn, this show is scripted like that.”

A third added: “Seriously, is every scene we see on this show actually real?”
