Kardashian fans are calling for Kylie Jenner to be ‘cancelled’ after throwing Stormi, 5, a ‘tasteless’ Astroworld birthday party

KARDASHIAN fans have slammed Kylie Jenner for throwing her daughter Stormi an Astroworld birthday party.

The Astroworld Festival is a music event founded by Stormi’s father, Travis Scott, and sadly in November 2021, the first night of the festival saw a deadly crush that left 10 dead.

On Tuesday, Kylie revealed the over-the-top party she organized for her daughter, five – which bore some similarities to the Astroworld Festival.

In recent years, a recurring theme on Stormi’s birthday has been a giant inflatable version of her head to mimic her father’s in Astroworld.

And this year was no different, as the entrance to the past was a silver Stormi head.

There was also another one, placed on top of a rainbow-colored inflatable slide that had been set up in Kylie’s huge backyard.

Not impressed at all by the Astroworld nod, people took to Reddit to share their thoughts.

One person started a thread with a photo from the party, writing: “(Unpopular opinion?) Stormi and Aire’s Astroworld birthday is reason enough to cancel them. 10 people died because of the Astroworld festival, one of them was a 9 year old little boy. Is this a joke?”

Others were quick to comment when one person got angry: “This is driving me insane. How callous and deaf and clueless a family can be. Jesus.”

Another accused: “You are mocking the victims at this point.”

And a third person claimed, “If Astroworld hasn’t canceled any of them, unfortunately the Stormiworld Remix Party won’t.”

Another person pointed out: “Cancelling is not real. If someone is doing something you don’t like, just stop paying attention to them.

“But I agree the issue is definitely questionable, it seems like Mr. Webster wasn’t there and Kylie said it was a rainbow unicorn issue so there probably won’t be that much real outrage,” they added she added.

Another Reddit user argued, “It’s definitely real. If enough people stop paying attention to you, your value will go down and business will dry up. Contracts were literally canceled because of this. Word to Kanye.”

The same person later commented, “Wait. Excuse me. What? I don’t follow her and Travis very closely. Is it themed because of its giant, bouncy house head? Is there more to the topic or just that?

“Even if it’s just that, what the hell are you thinking? This makes me more angry than I thought. I am fed up with these people now.”

Another disgusted person wrote, “And those StormiWorld balloons and shirts everywhere too,” followed by a puking emoji.

The party featured a variety of merchandise featuring Kylie’s children.

The theme of the day seemed to be rainbow unicorns, and Kylie hit the nail on the head — except for the beige party merch.

T-shirts and sweatshirts in neutral earth tones were updated with graphics that read “It Takes Two” with balloons, peace signs and a silver graphic of a boy and girl on the back.

Other merch items included a white shirt that said how many days, weeks, months, hours, minutes and seconds are in five years.

Shirts were also made for each of their children. One said “Stormi five is live” and the other said “Aire to the throne”. Some merch also said “Stormi + Aire 23′”.

Both of Kylie’s children attended this party because their birthdays are only a day apart. Aire will be one year old on February 2nd.

In a separate Reddit thread, Kardashian fans were confused by the birthday merch.

One person wrote: “5 is live? Wtf lol,” and another replied, “Right?? how sweet are the years/weeks/seconds she lives, but what’s that slogan?

Another said: “Why do people get rich and obsess over the color of oatmeal?”

Someone else commented: “MERCH at a BIRTHDAY PARTY for a 5 YEAR OLD???????????? wtf.”

A fan also pointed out that the numbers on the white jersey could be wrong: “Well according to the late great Jonathan Larson there are 525,600 minutes in a year: x5 = 2,628,000. The number on the jersey is 1,263,000 at the end, almost 2.5 years.”
