Kanye West’s ex-bodyguard Steve Stanulis claims the ailing rapper “absolutely needs rehab” ahead of telltale documentary.

KANYE WEST’s ex-bodyguard has claimed in an exclusive interview with The US Sun that the ailing rapper “really needs rehab”.
Steve Stanulis, who worked as Ye’s bodyguard in 2016, gears up for the premiere of his explosive documentary 15 Days with Kanye.

“He really needs rehab,” Steve, 51, told The US Sun.
“When you yell at people at the top of their lungs for wearing printed shirts and you say the prints are an artistic distraction and you get rid of (those people).
“Or if someone tries to help you and touches you and you freak out and fire them in two seconds when they were only trying to help you… The answer is yes, there are some problems.”
Steve continued, “I mean he’s obviously isolating himself or more by saying what he says. Obviously with all this anti-Semitic stuff now and all this stuff with all the sponsorships, it’s self-defeating. It is in itself – destructive mode.”

This isn’t the first time Kanye’s former bodyguard has spoken out about working with Kim Kardashian’s ex.
He shed light on his work as head of security for Kanye in May 2020 when speaking to various media outlets.
This led to Kanye, 45, and Kim, 42, threatening him with a $10 million lawsuit for breaking an NDA that Steve claims was never signed.
The former NYPD officer says Kanye never sued, even though he issued him a cease-and-desist letter. After all this, Steve eventually got the $3,800 owed to him for working for Ye.
The US Sun reached out to Kanye’s reps for comment.
BREAKING THE RECORD
Fast forward to now, and Steve sat down for an exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary about the controversial artist, directed by John Bianco and produced by Stanulis Films Inc.
“I said, ‘Let me address the elephant in the room, you know, tell my side of the story from my point of view, and then nobody has to ask me about it,'” he said. “You know, the three sides of every story. What people want is the truth.”
“There’s nothing defamatory about that, so I was able to do it legally,” Steve added, while mentioning that he had taken all legal precautions to ensure he wasn’t threatened with another lawsuit again.
The document will include locations filmed in NYC showing instances where Steve observed odd behavior from his former employer – from New York Fashion Week and the Met Gala to Waldorf Astoria and Madison Square Garden.
“I was known to have been fired for trying to hit on Kim, which was stupid,” Steve claimed. “I got fired for nonsense, but because of my past with Chippendales, it was a sensation.”
The father-of-three has denied any romance between him and Kim, admitting to his previous statements that he was “professional” when it came to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, although he thinks she is “gorgeous” and that “everyone would be happy to be with her.”
“It was clickbait. But the point is, all I’ve ever been was professional,” Steve, who is married to Lisa Stanulis, told The US Sun.
“When I first met (Kim), I was supposed to be with her. So when she first walked into the studio, I said, ‘Hey Kim, I just want to introduce myself. My name is Steve be your safety.’
“Within the first five minutes, I was being reprimanded and pulled aside and told, ‘Don’t talk to Kim.'”
“NO SURPRISE” BY DIVORCE
Kanye and Kim officially finalized their divorce in late November.
Steve said he was “probably the first to come out,” with insight into their strained relationship.
“It was like discovering the Titanic,” he said. “I’ve never seen them cuddling or holding hands or anything romantic. You know, even when they were together, they kissed goodbye, and I don’t mean how they make out. I’m just like, ‘Hey, see you later, hun.’ I’ve never seen affection.”
He continued, “I just thought it was weird. I would be with them 17, 18 hours a day sometimes and they would do their thing and then he would do his thing.”
The Stanulis Films Inc. founder claimed he’d only seen Kim “maybe four or five of them [15] days.”
When Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, Steve said he wasn’t “surprised” because he knew Kanye “had some issues.”
“I didn’t know how bad or to what extent again,” the 5th Ward director said. “But then I got out [gig] say, ‘I couldn’t handle this every day.'”

15 Days with Kanye premieres on January 19 at the 2023 New York City International Film Festival.
